Looks like someone managed to create a bot for My Brute and someone on the Net is not happy about this. I saw this post through Twitter when I searched for the game. I was interested in how popular is this game getting. The original post is in German. Initially using Google translator, now translated by a reader, Matze, here is the post in English:
Well, as you all know, a good game attract always cheaters. Like there was no other possibility for a long time, many cheaters use the weaknesses of such popular games. Due to there is no chance to establish contact to an admin or other support, the cheater will most likely just get away with it.
This is the brute with the name Zmurf17:
The Brute was pushed to level 40 through the night. Interesting is the fact that I battled him in a match shortly after midnight (Replays coming soon), where he was at level 38. 2-3 hours later he was suddenly at level 40. I spend the hole day on the game and I’m still not level 40, and he gained two level in 2-3 hours on that gaming level – in between 2-6 at night? Also interesting that he gained new Pupil every 2-3 sec., all named like “hrjghdeh”. 2-3 new players signed up, in one second, at night? He gained for every single one of that players XP, and there is no sign of used IP’s. We (Bam-Stevinho.de) have really a great and cool community, who really take part in every “shit” we do, but that is even for us impossible.
Looks like a Bot, which constantly keeps changing the IP’s und deletes and/or ignore all Cookies. The owner is most likely from France, because he is part of a France clan. Its really a pity, because the Bot will, with keeping that kind of levelling speed, gain 10-20 levels lead of the other players, and will most likely win every match.. Even with level 38 he buried my Brute already, because of his two Pets, one of them a bear.
In that case, you just need a Gamemaster or a little bit support, which can ban bot users. Otherwise, the honest players will lose their fun in the game very fast. What do you think about it?
