Yesterday, AsiaRooms.com have found their Social Travel Stars: Adam Osman and Kelly Latimer! They have won themselves S$10,000 in cash and prizes, including jetting to 12 destinations and review unique hotels across South-East Asia.
Run entirely on AsiaRooms.com’s Facebook page, the three-week long recruitment process resulted in the top 10 teams being shortlisted as finalists. Votes from members of the public constituted a portion of the final judging criteria. All voters also eligible for a draw for a free two night stay at any hotel of their choice available on AsiaRooms.com.
Premiering on AsiaRooms.com’s YouTube channel, The Right Room will feature the pair in their travel pursuits, sharing fun, genuine, and interesting travel-related content that will help potential travellers make decisions on which hotels fit them best. There will be a total of 12 episodes in the series, releasing fortnightly on the YouTube Channel. Each episode will feature a different theme and a different destination, showcasing unique aspects of the location as well as covering indispensable travel facts that will help meet the varied goals of travellers from different walks of life.
Let’s a take a look at their video that won them their bragging rights.
Summer is here! Since yesterday 3PM actually. For once, I am sitting out here at Starbucks instead of cooping in the research lab, studying, and plotting world domination through coding, enjoying the atmosphere~
OK… That’s the extent of how slack I will be throughout the summer. Actually, I will be darn busy. There is no life for a SMU student.
Clear up leftover work from semester: website for CCA and WSG work.
Internship. Initially, I was hesitant to take up one for the semester because of the nest point. But then again, if I am offered an opportunity to intern at a startup, why not? It will be an interesting experience.
FYP preparation. This is one and only module that I am preparing for even before the official start of the module later in Term 1 AY13.
CCAs and related activities.
RTs. Yeah, I failed my IPT programme.
On the bright side, I will have my after-sunset life back, at least for the next 3 months or so.
I know that at times like this I should not be distracted. It is in the middle of my exam period, but who can actually pass up a good story: Gundam Unicorn. Like most , if not, all Gundam series, it has a deep story line with plenty of moral implications, conflicts and issues to think about. Oh well, luckily that they are releasing the next episode only in May, well away from my exams. 😆
This post is two weeks over due, as I was caught up with the crazy school workload. In any case, I do hope this still reached out in time to my readers.
On the 23rd of March, I was invited by AsiaRooms.com for its launch for its search for Singapore’s next social travel star. The winner from this search stands to win up to $10,000 worth of cash and prizes and also to debut on AsiaRooms.com brand new YouTube channel.
