It is here again. Honestly, this is the only event that gets me excited as an alumnus of YJC. 😀
Tickets are priced at $10/-. They can be bought at the event itself or from any existing YJCians, students and teachers alike. If you see any YJCians on the street, stop them and ask for a ticket or two. 😆
The event will be held on the 27th Feb 2010, 9am – 5pm. It is a Saturday, exactly a month away. Cross the date out for this funfair! There is no excuses such as you have to work or it is for family only. If your family day on Saturdays, CVD makes a great event for your kids to come. There are events targeting children and teenagers. If you are lazy to wake up from a long week at work, that’s what the 5pm end-time is for. If you stay in the east side of Singapore, that is what the 5pm is for too.
This is for a good cause. Proceeds from this year’s CVD will go to Singapore Disability Sports Council. In addition, to reflect Singapore as the host city for the inaugural Youth Olympics Games, CVD ‘s theme is “Fiesta de Olympic Agones” (Fiesta of Olympic Games). So do expect a day filled with games and fun!
Enough said, do visit the College’s CVD page on school website or make a reminder or two at Facebook or in your calendar!

What else did I miss out?
Recently, I have used Woopra as my forth statistic tool for this blog. Yes I am that manic about stats.
Not only that, there is a live chatting function! I can chat with visitors in real time! What does this mean? The visitors are in for a surprise! So, if you see a pop up, don’t be hasty to close it! That is me! 😀
(via @dk) Someone is listening. Hard. But all this can be avoided if someone learns how much passion the community has for a culture. Still, kudos! Sadly, I won’t be purchasing it. I didn’t intend to collect the set as there was no pig initially. A late release like this does not change the fact that I do not have a collection. Still, let us not deprive the rest and vote “YES“.
Slide. Screen on. Slide. Screen off. Slide. Screen on. With a frustrated sigh, slide. Screen off.
Oh heck. beeeeep beeep beeeep beeep beeeeep beeep beeep beeeeep. Ring ring ring ring ring. No answer. Slide.
“Oh, forget it,” while looking around the lighted streets inappreciatively.
Switching on the iPod Nano, the world became oblivious once more…
I hate the fact that I tend attach the sounds and words of a movie or a show to related visual simulations and couple with active imagination or underused brain juice… WALA! I get a moving picture in my mind!
Reading the working script of the Avatar movie is as though watching the movie in mind, albeit fast forwarded version.
Reading the summary plot of A Walk to Remember movie on Wikipedia, couple with a sudden recall of the song, Only Hope, makes me recall… A Walk to Remember movie.
And they come at the wrong time.
Despite of going to East Coast Park for another 2-hour long non-stop cycling, I think I have put on weight instead of losing them again.
Saturday – Cousin’s 21st birthday. Burp! Cycling from the Kite Runners to halfway point of the Changi Coast Park Connector and back (app. 20KM again).
Sunday – My dad bought home some 来历不明 roast duck. Super yummy and sinful. Burp! No swimming today, because I decided to take a long nap. Thanks to fiefie and Jean for mentioning. 😕
